Where is the Museum situated?
Look for the Visitor Information Centre and the Museum is diagonally opposite near the old bridge.
Who owns The Museum
The Museum is owned and run by the Goondiwindi Historical Society, all admission fees and donations are used to improve the museum.
Do you have access for wheelchair users?
We have an access ramp at the rear of the museum, If needed vehicles can access the museum through its rear gates and Wheelchair users can be dropped of near the ramp.
Is there a discount for larger parties?
organised visits by larger groups attracts a discount, please contact the museum for details.
Is there parking nearby?
There is ample parking outside the museum, with room for caravans and coaches.
How long should we allow for a visit?
We would recommend allowing at least an hour to look around.
Are refreshments available at the Museum?
Tea and Coffee is normally available please ask the curators when you arrive. Catering for larger parties may be possible if arranged in advance, please contact for details.
